DynamicTrail ("the app") is published by Simard Software. It helps riders and clubs map and share ATV, snowmobile, bike, and running trails. This page explains what information the app collects and how it's used.
We use the information above only to operate the app's core features: displaying the map and your location, recording and saving trails and waypoints, and letting club officers/trail masters review and approve content submitted to the trail systems they manage. We do not use your data for advertising, and the app does not include any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Trails and waypoints you submit to a public trail system are visible to other users of the app, the same way they would be on a public trail map. We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose information if required to do so by law.
Content you submit remains associated with your account until removed by you or by an authorized club officer/administrator for the trail system it belongs to. To request deletion of your account or the data associated with it, contact us using the email below.
DynamicTrail is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Authentication is handled by a dedicated identity provider (Keycloak) — the app and its servers never see or store your password directly.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a revised "Last updated" date.
